not my new year's resolutions
Jan. 2nd, 2009 05:09 amI would like to emphasise that these are not resolutions, as resolutions never get resolved when I'm doing them.
So, in no particular order, in 2009 I plan to:
Exercise more regularly - if nothing else this year, I have to force my body into some sort of shape, or I will have my doctors, physios and not least my parents lining up to yell at me. Also, if I have to start using a wheelchair I can't see I'll ever get out of it
Get a new job - my current job is fine, it's dull and pays well and is ultra convenient, but I can't stand being bored the whole time
Get a house - scares me shitless, but I can do it and living on my own is a big step that I need to take
Get a kitten - to go in the new house so it's not quite so scary
Go to Rome - next place on my 'to visit' list
I think that should just about do it, lets see which one of those falls by the wayside first...
